CHALLENGE:
The company’s distributed structure generated communication noise and knowledge silos, making it difficult for employees to understand strategy and effectively adapt to project changes.
SOLUTION:
Implementation of the “Biz-techletter” hybrid magazine (print & digital). Thanks to project transparency and direct leadership engagement, we transformed a standard newsletter into a strategic tool for knowledge exchange and organizational culture building.
Content architecture as a strategic business support
We designed the magazine’s structure so that each section supports a specific business goal and builds a unified organizational culture. Our priority was for every employee, regardless of their office or project, to have a clear picture of what is happening in the company. The goal was to create an internal communication tool that shares information about strategic achievements and development plans, fostering a sense of ownership among employees.
Leadership communication, the voice of leaders in practice
The key to success was the engagement of managers (levels L5–L7). We developed processes that enabled over 40 leaders to share their knowledge regularly – they now create 60% of the magazine’s content. Instead of anonymous news, employees receive expert insights from people they know and respect.
“Print isn’t dead”, in response to digital overload
In response to insights from the GFT communication and EB team, which identified growing fatigue with digital content, we decided to return to print. We prepared a custom magazine, using AI to optimize the publishing process, which allowed us to increase the issue to 48 pages. The presence of printed copies in offices serves as a clear signal to employees that GFT treats communication quality with the same rigor as the quality of the code it creates.
Biz-techletter by the numbers, measurable success
The results confirmed that focusing on concrete and transparent communication was the right direction. The number of authors involved in the project increased by 123%, and the average employee satisfaction rating reached 4.55/5. By improving information flow, we more effectively counteract turnover and strengthen the sense of belonging to the organization. The Biz-techletter now serves as a vital link between GFT’s business goals and the daily work of teams across Poland.
